The company's operations are divided into two primary divisions: the Medline Brand and Supply Chain Solutions. The Medline Brand division focuses on the production and sourcing of its proprietary medical products, categorized into three key areas: Within Frontline Care, Medline provides a wide array of patient-facing medical and surgical items. This encompasses essentials like wound care treatments, examination gloves, skin and incontinence products, sanitation supplies, various textiles, hand sanitizers, durable medical equipment (DME), patient-specific plastic goods, and decolonization and infection control solutions. The Surgical Solutions category delivers comprehensive product lines for operating rooms and perioperative settings. Offerings range from surgical procedure trays, drapes, and gowns to personal protective equipment (PPE), sterile wraps, various surgical instruments, specialized surgeon's gloves, complete procedure kits, and orthopedic implants. Finally, Laboratory and Diagnostics supplies critical solutions for clinical testing and analysis. This includes point-of-care testing devices, analytical instruments, laboratory consumables, advanced diagnostic equipment, vital signs monitoring systems, and products for anatomic pathology and phlebotomy. The Supply Chain Solutions segment is responsible for sourcing and distributing a diverse portfolio of third-party products, including those from well-known national brands. Beyond distribution, this segment offers comprehensive logistics and supply chain optimization services to clients both domestically and internationally. These optimization services encompass strategic consulting, outsourced management of warehousing and technology, specialized "put-away-ready" packaging, third-party logistics (3PL), inventory rationalization strategies, and efficient route planning. Established in 1966, Medline Inc. maintains its headquarters in Northfield, Illinois.
