CAGR

Compound annual growth rate. CAGR expresses the smoothed annual rate that connects a starting value to an ending value over a period.

Total Return

Price appreciation plus dividends. TGMCharts treats total return as a reinvested-dividend series when reliable dividend history is available.

Revenue

The sales a company reports before expenses. Revenue CAGR helps identify companies with sustained top-line growth.

EPS

Earnings per share. EPS divides earnings attributable to shareholders by the share count, usually with diluted shares for comparability.

Free Cash Flow

Cash from operations minus capital expenditures. It is often used to evaluate how much cash a company can generate after reinvesting in the business.

Dividend Yield

Annual dividend per share divided by share price. Yield changes with both dividend policy and stock price.

Payout Ratio

Dividends divided by earnings. It is a rough indicator of how much profit is being returned to shareholders as dividends.

Enterprise Value

Market capitalization plus debt and preferred claims, less cash and equivalents. It estimates the value of the operating business.

ROIC

Return on invested capital. ROIC compares operating profit to the capital used by the business.
