Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how TGM Ventures, Inc. ("TGM," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use TGMcharts (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy and our Terms of Use. Effective date: September 9, 2026.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: if you sign in, we receive basic profile details from your chosen sign-in provider, such as your name and email address.
  • Content you create: watchlists, preferences, and similar settings you save on the Service.
  • Usage and device data: log data such as pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type, and timestamps.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see "Cookies and Analytics" below.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide, maintain, and secure the Service and your account;
  • Remember your preferences and watchlists;
  • Understand and improve how the Service is used;
  • Detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, and technical issues; and
  • Comply with our legal obligations.

3. Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies for sign-in and local storage for your privacy choice. Analytics runs in the background unless you turn it off or your browser sends a supported privacy signal. Our server forwards limited usage events, public page paths, campaign labels, coarse location and browser information to Google Analytics. We use a random browser identifier in local storage, not your email or account identifier. We remove query strings and fragments from page URLs.

You can turn analytics off here or through Analytics choices in the footer. Turning it off stops future optional analytics and removes locally stored analytics identifiers; it does not automatically erase data already received by Google. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals keep optional analytics off. Essential account operations and security logs continue. If storage is unavailable, your choice and identifier last only for the current page.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with: (a) service providers who help us operate the Service — for example, cloud hosting and content delivery, authentication, and analytics providers — under confidentiality obligations; and (b) as required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security. Market data shown on the Service is supplied to us by third-party data vendors; we do not transmit your personal information to those vendors.

5. Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period unless a longer retention is required by law. Google Analytics event and user data retention is configured for 14 months; aggregated reporting can be retained longer. Our daily analytics export uses a 400-day table expiration in Google BigQuery. Your browser identifier persists until you turn analytics off or clear site storage. The first observed visit and first qualified visit are recorded only while analytics is enabled; we do not reconstruct earlier browsing history. Security logs follow separate operational retention requirements.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update or delete your account at any time, and you can request deletion of your information through the contact form at tgmcharts.com/contact. For analytics deletion requests, contact us before clearing site storage so we can help identify the relevant browser identifier; do not include passwords, authentication tokens or API keys. We will respond consistent with applicable law (including the CCPA and GDPR where they apply), and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Users

TGM is based in the United States, and the Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be processed in the U.S., where data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
