Additionally, Public Storage held an approximate 35% common equity interest in Shurgard Self Storage SA (Euronext Brussels:SHUR), an entity that owned and operated 239 self-storage sites under the Shurgard brand in seven Western European countries, encompassing approximately 13 million net rentable square feet. Concurrently, it maintained an approximate 42% common equity interest in PS Business Parks, Inc.
