Separately, Property & Casualty Other Operations addresses specific liabilities such as asbestos and environmental exposures. The Group Benefits segment supplies group life, disability, and other collective insurance products to employer groups, associations, and affinity organizations, either directly or by reinsuring other carriers. Finally, Hartford Funds offers investment products designed for retail and retirement accounts, including exchange-traded products, distributed via broker-dealers, independent financial advisors, defined contribution platforms, financial consultants, bank trust departments, and registered investment advisors.
