About Avista Corporation

Avista Corporation operates as an energy utility, conducting business through its various subsidiaries. Its operations are divided into two primary segments: Avista Utilities and AEL&P. The AEL&P segment, conversely, supplies electrical services to approximately 17,400 customers located in the city and borough of Juneau, Alaska. The company generates its electricity from hydroelectric, thermal, and wind power sources. As of February 23, 2022, Avista was serving 406,000 electric customers and 372,000 natural gas customers.
